Greetings Festivarians!!
It turns out, there are festivarians among us who like to procrastinate
- even on something as important as Telluride tickets! To all
of you, here's a little love...
Due to overwhelming demand and more than one "pretty please",
we are extending our Telluride holiday prices until the end
of the month. That's 5pm, Tuesday, January 31. Period.
After that, four-day festival passes and Warner Field camping
passes increase by
$30. Order today: 800-624-2422 or
visit www.bluegrass.com.
As if the $30 savings wasn't enough, here are a couple more reasons
to grab your Telluride tickets right now...
Emmylou Harris has just confirmed for Telluride! We can't tell you
about her band quite yet. But it's something special.
We spent a relaxing afternoon with mandolin virtuoso Mike
Marshall earlier this week. Mike helped
us out with our first-ever podcast by sharing
his thoughts on natural foods, music downloads,
and his upcoming Telluride set. Wait - did we neglect to mention
Mike will be at Telluride? Oh yes.
Look for this debut Planet Bluegrass podcast in
the coming weeks. In the meantime, check out our full-page
ads in the latest issues of
Relix and Paste. We're really
proud of them. Oh, and order
those holiday-priced Telluride tickets.
Best,
The Folks on Planet Bluegrass

RockyGrass, Folks Fest, and Festival of the Mabon
Holiday Ticket Prices
Our estimate
that the RockyGrass (July
28-30) holiday tickets would last "a couple
more
weeks"
was a little
generous. We sold-out of
our allottment of holiday tickets two days ago. Sorry
about that.
We
still have lots of 3-day RockyGrass passes and camping in
beautiful Meadow Park. But with a lineup
that includes: Mountain Heart, Blue Highway, Yonder Mountain
String
Band, Jerry Douglas / Russ Barenberg / Edgar Meyer, Darol
Anger's Republic of Strings, Tony Trischka Bluegrass Band
featuring Roland White, Uncle Earl, The Infamous Stringdusters,
Abigail Washburn, Richard Greene & the Brothers Barton,
The Wilders, and Bearfoot Bluegrass, these tickets will be
a rare commodity in a couple months. (And yes, we're very
close to some major RockyGrass lineup announcements...)
Holiday ticket prices
for the
other Lyons
festivals
-
Folks Fest (August
18-20) and
Festival of
the Mabon (September 23) - end
on
or before Friday,
February 24.
