  For anyone who has a fair liking for bluegrass and knows they should like Bob Dylan, this album is for you. I love bluegrass and always knew I should appreciate Dylan more than I did. But I couldn't seem to get over his inability to sing therefore denying myself a true appreciation for his talent. Red on Blonde is a bluegrass style interpretation of Bob Dylan tunes. These are terrific. The lyrics of these songs are musical poetry and the true scope of Dylan's talent comes through. The stylings of the songs are rich and interesting yet do not distract from the vocals or the story. There is a good balance. The musical quality of Tim O'brien and Molly O'brien's harmony as well as the rich layered tapestry of traditional bluegrass instruments make this an album Dylan fans as well as bluegrass fans will love.
